FOR YEARS, LIFE HAS FELT LIKE AN UNWRAPPED GIFT, FILLED WITH ENDLESS POTENTIAL AND SURPRISES. EVERY EXPERIENCE, MUCH LIKE A TOOL IN MY BAG, HAS ITS PURPOSE — SHAPING MY PATH THROUGH BOTH THE BRIGHTEST DAYS AND THE DARKEST TUNNELS. WITH THE RIGHT SUPPORT AND REFLECTION, I’VE BUILT A FOUNDATION THAT GUIDES ME THROUGH CHALLENGES AND FUELS MY GROWTH. THIS JOURNEY CONTINUES TO UNFOLD, REVEALING NEW DEPTHS AND POSSIBILITIES.
If you look at life itself, it feels inviting, like an unopened gift under a Christmas tree, holding the promise of bringing a big smile to your face and making your heart beat with excitement. It might be something you once dreamed about so vividly that it kept you up at night or something so extraordinary that even the brightest vision couldn’t capture it. In any case, receiving and unwrapping this gift is an undeniably exhilarating process because what awaits us is thrillingly unknown.
But what happens when, at a certain point, it feels like everything worth discovering about that gift has become clear — every corner, curve, detail, and crack committed to memory? In moments like these, it’s worth reflecting on whether everything we once saw in that gift was all there was or was it merely an illusion. Of course, our thoughts have deceived us because life holds an endless reserve of undiscovered magic, which we sometimes have to remind ourselves by shifting our gaze back to the gift itself.
October was dedicated to mental health in my home country, and while the month has passed, mental health remains a constant part of our lives. As a self-awareness enthusiast, I’d like to share a glimpse of my own journey through life’s challenges — a fitting reflection for this dark season when the sun only peeks out for a handful of hours.
Human existence has fascinated me since childhood. Yet, this topic once felt unfathomable, untangling its mysteries seemingly nearly impossible. My journey to self-understanding hasn’t been guided as profoundly by textbooks but, instead, by personal crises. Though I’ve faced significant challenges at different stages of life, one particular period three years ago truly pulled the rug from under my feet, guiding me to seek help. The sleep issues that haunted me throughout 2021 had pushed me deeper than I was willing to admit at first. This was actually the time when I found Ecosh food supplements. I discovered them in search of natural support for my sleep issues. At the time, I was keen to avoid medications, looking instead for a gentler, more natural solution. That’s when I started taking Meelerahu and Hea une supplements, which quickly became favorites. Since then, I’ve trusted Ecosh for all my supplement needs, appreciating their quality and natural approach. I could have never anticipated that three years later, in 2024, Ecosh and I would form a partnership. This collaboration felt like a natural “yes” for me, as I already believed in their products and valued how they support my wellness journey. But going beyond food supplements, at one point, I admitted that I also needed different kinds of help in addition to the other ways I was trying to support myself. With a best friend’s advice, I decided to confide in a professional. From there, a journey into inner space began, which I am grateful for to this day.
After almost 30 years of wrestling alone with my thoughts, sitting in a therapist’s office with trembling knees felt terrifying. Yet, this act of bravery brought immense relief and propelled me forward, helping me expand my comfort zone and perspective. It opened the door to a genuine desire to invest in myself — through time, resources, and effort. I joined a training program at the Holistic Institute, attended various self-development events, and sought insights from others. Eventually, this path led me to my current mentor, Eva Lepik, from Supreme Empires. Every stage has played a crucial role in shaping who I am today.
The most profound lesson, of course, didn’t come from outside of me, but inside, when I developed a deep understanding of taking responsibility for shaping my life. What I see, and also what I choose not to see, is all part of me. This mentality still guides me in my development, as an awakening to our true potential is not a one-time thing but a continuous process, limited only by ourselves with the constructs of the mind that create limited patterns. Sometimes, these realizations of breaking the pattern come spontaneously. For example, I once picked up disc golf, a passion of mine, without knowing where it might lead or fully understanding why I was drawn to it. Looking back, I see that my choice to follow my true calling led to something wonderful: defying traditional logic.
I grew up with certain ideas — that to succeed, you must take specific steps: pursue an education to get a "respectable" job, build a career, then start a family, etc. While these paths work for many, my experience unfolded differently. Though my rational mind initially questioned this divergence, life gave me something that resonated with my heart. Was it just coincidence, or can such "miracles" happen repeatedly? This is a frequent topic of discussion with Eva. How often do we go through life defined by beliefs we never question? True growth happens when we dare to ask ourselves what else is possible and look beyond the curtain.
The “anomaly” of disc golf in my life is worth investigating, as it hints that life’s magic isn’t confined to rigid expectations. An honest, direct, and grounded mentor is a powerful catalyst on this journey. Eva has helped me see where my judgments, biases, and subconscious resistance hold me back. This work has opened up a new world where I consciously choose where to focus and commit to what genuinely draws me. Going through this process, it’s almost inevitable that life begins to reveal its magic. Following my intuition has led to choices that might seem risky to a logical mind but feel right within. In doing so, I’ve opened myself to the possibility of truly enjoying life, and I believe there’s no greater purpose than committing to what you love and living it fully.
This is a reminder not always to look around to find what is “normal” or what “should” make you happy, but rather to have the courage to seek what is within and what we are truly drawn to. Such journeys deepen our connection with life itself. When we brush off the dust on our “gift,” even if it blinds us temporarily, we can eventually see ourselves and others with newfound clarity. That adds true beauty to life — not as a gift passively received, but as something won through perseverance and curiosity.
